In life we have so many expectations.
Our Ego minds tend to hold on to these expectations. They change over time, depending on what we focus our minds on in the moment.
It can seem like people hurt us, by not acting according to the expectations you yourself have set.
By seeing through the illusion that it's other people or circumstances that hurt you, you will be able to experience greater freedom of mind, and let go of the feelings of hurt.
Just imagine what you can focus on if those broken expectations are not taking up so much of your time and space?!

Under all your thoughts about not being good enough, broken, not worthy, or whatever you can come up with, please know you don't need to be fixed. You just need to see you have a lot of thinking in the moment, and depending on your current mood, that thinking can look very different. And it will inevitably change!

Leaving the fair shores of Sydney behind for a few days. Insights cannot be bought, they pop into your head when you least expect it. On the 9,5hrs flight from SYD to BKK I saw so many things I had been churning on for a while in a completely different light. We make our minds up how we want things to be, we map out a road, we make plans. And when life doesn't turn out that way, we easily get lost, disheartened, confused. Many ask "Why"? There is no need to ask why, everything is unfolding perfectly! With a little patience it will be revealed. When you stop fighting against your thoughts, it is inevitable to see the bigger picture, and you will experience greater peace of mind!

As we tend to occupy ourselves constantly, overloading our senses. it is sometimes necessary to take a little timeout to recharge and reflect.
It is your duty of care, to yourself, to listen when your body/mind/wisdom is telling you it's time to go within!

As I have come to understand at a much deeper level, there really is no solution to a feeling!
Feelings are 100% created by our thinking in the moment!
Some thoughts can linger for a very long time, whilst some pass quite quickly.
And the same goes for the feeling we experience when we "buy into" these thoughts.
Some feelings we label as comfortable or pleasant, whilst others we label uncomfortable, unpleasant or painful.
We try hard to redirect our minds to avoid the unpleasant ones, and the harder we try, the more they seem to linger.
What we miss in this process is that we cannot and need not solve the feelings we are feeling.
It will inevitably change by itself.
The genius design of human beings!
