German Day at UNSW! On Friday 29 May, our Year 9 and 10 German students attended the Stage 5 German Day at UNSW, organised in collaboration with the German Embassy and the Goethe-Institute (German Cultural Institute).
Students had the opportunity to interact with other German learners from across New South Wales through a range of engaging language and cultural activities. They also learned about future opportunities available through German, including university pathways, scholarships, exchange programs, and studying in Germany.
It was a fantastic day that allowed students to use their German in an authentic setting while discovering the many opportunities that language learning can provide.

Over the weekend of 16 & 17 May, proud KHS students competed in the Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA) hosted by Rotary District 9685 at Roseville Public School. During MUNA competitions, teams need to best represent the interests of their countries across a range of topics, such as whether minerals should be mined in Antarctica. KHS represented Ukraine and students George, Annabel and James showcased their outstanding ability to weigh up their country's international interests in times of global conflict.
We were gratefully sponsored to compete by Rotary Ku-ring-gai, whose continued support means our students get to participate in fantastic opportunities beyond the classroom.
