🎭Exciting News For Drama!

Amy B in Yr12 has received an Onstage nomination for her monologue piece, Digging Deep. 🎉A big congratulations to Amy!

The HSC Drama students completed their HSC Drama Practicals on Wednesday 2nd September with all students demonstrating a high level of commitment and dedication to their craft. A big shout out to you all for your hard work!

In week 9 of Term 3, The Drama students held a Drama Night where Year 12 performed their Individual Projects before an audience filled with friends and family. Performances also included pieces from the junior and senior Drama Ensembles, with Jasper H in Yr10 and George A in Yr11 keeping the night alive with their entertaining and witty commentary as EMCEES.

We wish the 2026 Drama students all the best in completing the Drama written component for the HSC.

On the 10th of September Oliver F, Nickan P and Amneet S represented our school at the Forrest Network SRC meeting held at Davidson High School with Ms Amber Gorrell our Director Educational Leadership. Our representatives spoke well, collaborated with students from other high schools and primary schools, and had a great afternoon of discussion and planning. Well done!

Day 2 at the PASS ski trip has been amazing. We have had a snow shower and lots of fun. The students have represented the school incredibly well. Go PASS!

Year 10 Pass ski trip kicked-off today and they are having a blast! Great snow, the sun is shining and the students are making rapid progress. ⛷️🏂

Last week, we had our final presenter for Killara Academy and Graduation Celebration.

A Niche Business called Carreli d' Amore Gelato Cart gave our students fantastic insight into starting a business and protecting your Brand. Students were then given their Graduation Certificates and Gelato of their choice to celebrate the end of this awesome program.

Killara Academy is made possible by our wonderful community of Volunteer Presenters, with a special thank you to Ann Dixon who has coordinated Killara Academy for the last 5 years.

Yesterday, we officially kicked off rehearsals for our 2027 Musical with an exciting cast table read! 🎶✨

What a fantastic start to the journey! We can’t wait to watch our talented cast bring this much-loved show to life over the coming months. 💙🌟

Congratulations to Clara L in Year 7 who entered the Young Archies this year and was ranked within the top 8% of entries in her age category! Her sculpture has now been selected for the Ku ring g*i Sculpture Trail and is exhibited at the Ku ring g*i wildflower garden.

The Sculpture Trail exhibition is open from 5 September - 5 October and includes a People’s Choice Award, where visitors can vote for their favourite sculpture. If you're visiting the garden keep an eye out for Clara’s work, No. 32, “Second Life.”

Congratulations to both of our aerobics teams who travelled to the Sunshine Coast over the weekend to compete at the National School Aerobics Championships.

Both teams have worked incredibly hard throughout the year, dedicating countless hours to training, refining their routines and supporting one another.

We are so proud to celebrate both teams finishing in the Top 10 of their respective divisions.

A huge congratulations to every student involved. Your hard work, resilience and dedication have paid off, and you should be incredibly proud of what you have achieved.
