arly Learners is a brand new purpose built and architecturally designed innovative early learning centre. At Academy for Early Learners, we understand that the first five years in a child’s life form the cornerstone on which their future development is based. Hence it is important to provide them with the right environment to learn from an early age. With this in mind, we have specifically designed unique educational programs to suit all children, aged from six weeks through to six years. These developmental programs are guided by the latest childhood learning research, as a supplement to the national early years learning framework, using a combination of structured and discovery learning. Beautifully located in West Pymble, Academy for Early Learners has the latest educational toys, play rooms, shaded outdoor areas, and much more. At Academy for Early Learners, children experience intentional and spontaneous learning programs, guided by the expertise of our experienced, caring and qualified staff. Our staff are committed to helping to develop your child by taking an interest in their special abilities, likes and dislikes, so that they can better understand and cater to your child’s needs and holistic education. Academy for Early Learners believes that childcare can only be successful when done in partnership with parents, and the care that is given at home. It is important to us that your child’s development, interests and education are guided consistently between your home and the school. We invite feedback and ideas from parents twice a year to help ensure Academy for Early Learners is giving your child appropriate care and education. It is the Academy for Early Learners way to encourage children to explore and learn about the world in which they live through discovery and creativity. Our educational programs are carefully designed to provide a balance between structured learning and discovery learning, helping to introduce children to school culture. We use a variety of intentional and spontaneous teaching experiences, and work with observations taken on each child to plan and tailor our programs. The children participate in projects that stem from their skills and interests. Projects incorporate all the learning areas whilst engaging children through play and specific activities.
