Offering young performers the opportunity to reach their vocal potential and develop their performan

A few years ago I saw my daughter Stephanie develop an interest in singing and playing guitar. These two hobbies were close to my heart having a musical history myself. After listening to her and noticing the obvious talent and passion for music, it reignited my own passion for the beautiful art of singing. Having had trained with the amazing Patricia Ortell, a renowned singer and teacher in her own right and performing with commercial bands, I decided to pass on my knowledge to help her get the best out of her ability. Of course this gave us mother and daughter time well cherished. About 4 years ago Stephanie performed live at the Sonja Dene School of Dance concert, which arguably, is one of our finest dance schools in the area. It was after her performance that I was approached by a parent of a young dancer asking if I would be willing to take her daughter as a student. After sometime I finally decided to take on this student and after our 1st lesson I realised that this is what I loved doing..... and 4 years later i still have the passion to teach...

As a teacher, my aim is to cultivate young voices into the world of contemporary singing. Stage presence, vocal technique and performance qualities are just some of the skills your children will gain from my lessons. To quote one of my aspiring student's at our last annual 'Amateur Singing Showcase', "we're made to feel like we're part of a family". Maybe soon you'll see one of my super stars on that big stage!
