Many viruses have similar symptoms, including gastro and COVID-19. If your child is unwell you must keep them home and get them to take a rapid antigen or PCR test to make sure they don’t have COVID-19.
Gastro normally begins with vomiting. Children then develop frequent diarrhoea. Often children may have tummy pain and fever, some children may have a runny nose, or a sore throat (usually caused by vomiting or dehydration).

New home learning packs for the Cuddlepies!
Placed on the footpath just off the car park. All children who are not currently attending have labelled packs - with some spare unlabelled packs for any Cuddlepies child who would like one.

This week Alisha is participating in the virtual Early Childhood Australia National Conference - the theme this year is Young Citizens - the right to play, learn and be heard.
There are over 100 sessions on a great variety of topics, many discussing the importance of learning through play in the early years.

Children aged from four years old but under seven years old can’t travel in the front seat of a vehicle with two or more rows, unless all other back seats are occupied by younger children. They must be in an approved child car seat or booster seat.

Remember, “The front seat is not a treat”. Back seats (with the appropriate child car seats) are the most appropriate place for kids and help us keep kids safe.

It's been a challenging time for all of us working in Early Childhood Education during this time, hearing day in, day out - stay home, social distance many things we just can't achieve in our profession.

Our at home learning packs are now available for children in the Cuddlepies room who are not currently attending. They are placed in the car park for non contact pickup. Each child who is not currently attending has a labelled pack - we also have a few unlabelled spares in the container as well. These are for children in the Cuddlepies (3-5 years) - Educators in other rooms will work on some more age appropriate packs for younger age groups.
