From colleagues to lifelong connections 10 years later

Rachel, Angel and Stephanie’s story began back in 2016, when the three worked alongside one another, building friendships and sharing their passion for early childhood education. 💛

Over the years, their journeys took them in different directions. Angel stepped away to begin the beautiful chapter of having her own children, Rachel continued to grow and make her mark at Explore & Develop Parramatta, while Stephanie moved across to, Explore & Develop North Ryde, where she went on to manage the service.

Fast forward to 2026, and Angel’s return to Explore & Develop Parramatta has brought the three back together again. 🥹

Ten years, three different journeys, and now a very special reunion. It’s a beautiful reminder that while our paths may change over the years, the relationships we build along the way can always bring us back together. 🤍

In celebration of Science Week, our preschool children explored the magic of colour through a milk experiment!
Using milk, food colouring and dish soap, the children made predictions before watching the colours move, swirl and mix across the surface.

🔬💭 As they experimented, we discussed what was happening and encouraged the children to observe the changes, test their ideas and share their discoveries.

Experiences like this introduce children to early scientific concepts such as cause and effect, reactions and prediction, while encouraging curiosity, questioning and investigation.
A colourful way to discover the wonder of science! 🌈🧪
