One Step Up Childcare aims to provide the best start for your child’s Early Childhood Education and care in a fun, safe and nurturing environment! At One Step Up Childcare, we believe in developing the child as a whole, we recognise there is nothing more important to a parent than the health and happiness of their child and that is why we strive to provide a place where your child wants to be each day. Our centre is designed to be a home away from home, where everyone is safe and secure to enjoy a flexible program of fun, learning, playtime and social interaction. At the end of each day, we won’t be happy unless we are surrounded by happy children and happy parents; we pay special attention to all the little things to ensure that each parent and child leave our centre with a big smile.

🚒👨‍🚒 We had some very special visitors at One Step Up today!

Our local firefighters came in to teach the children some really important fire safety messages, including “get down low and go, go, go!” 🔥

We learnt not to hide under beds or in cupboards if there is a fire, but to yell out so firefighters can find us. We also learnt that firefighters are there to help us, so we don’t need to be scared — and of course, in an emergency, we call 000 📞

The children absolutely loved meeting some real-life superheroes, exploring the fire truck, seeing all the equipment, using the hose and watching the sirens go off! 🚨💦

Some of our children even dream of becoming firefighters when they grow up, so seeing their faces light up throughout the day was so wholesome 🥹❤️ What a fun and memorable visit! 🚒✨

Our little learners loved exploring the home corner, cooking up tasty meals, caring for their babies, and creating beautiful stories through dramatic play. These moments help build creativity, communication, confidence and nurturing skills🧸🍳

FLIP OUT EXCURSION! Today we bounced, climbed, slid and laughed our way through an awesome day at Flip Out! 🎉

WHY you may ask.. because this isn’t ’educational’. When we asked the children where they wanted to go, this was their pick and here at One Step Up, children’s voices matter! 🥰

The best part? They were having so much fun they didn’t even realise they were building their gross motor skills at the same time!

🎶 Today our children had an amazing time participating in Little Mozarts music program!

There were smiles all around as the children explored rhythm, danced along to the music, and had the opportunity to learn about and play a variety of musical instruments.
Music experiences like these help support children’s language development, coordination, listening skills, self expression, and most importantly, create joyful memories through play and learning. We can’t wait for our next Little Mozarts session! Stay tuned for more details to come on when we will start this on a more frequent basis🎵🥁🎹
