🚒🔥 Our K–2 students loved welcoming our local Fire and Rescue NSW team to GRPS!

Students learned important fire safety tips, explored the equipment and even climbed aboard the fire truck! 👩‍🚒🧯

🎶📚 Book Week 2026: Symphony of Stories 📚🎶

GRPS came alive with the magic of stories as our students and staff transformed into their favourite book characters!

From much loved classics to new adventures, every costume celebrated the characters, imagination and creativity that make reading so special. Thank you to our families for helping bring our Book Week parade to life.

💯 days of Kindergarten and 💯 days of fun, friendship and fantastic learning! 🎉

Today our Kindergarten students celebrated 100 Days of Kindy, and what a milestone it was! From creative activities to plenty of laughter, dancing and fun, our youngest learners marked 100 incredible days of learning, growing and making memories together.

We’re so proud of everything they’ve achieved already and can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!

🖤💛❤️Celebrating 50 Years of NAIDOC Week❤️💛🖤

What a special day at GRPS! 🌿✨

Our students celebrated 50 years of NAIDOC Week through meaningful cultural experiences, including creating beautiful shell artworks with Aunty Lola, sharing stories and yarns with Uncle Gene, and coming together as a whole school for a Smoking Ceremony.

A heartfelt thank you to Aunty Lola and Uncle Gene for so generously sharing your knowledge, stories and culture with our school community. We are honoured to learn from you.

Today reminded us of the importance of listening, learning and walking together as we celebrate the strength, vision and legacy of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. 🖤💛❤️
