Last night, our annual Winter SoirΓ©e brought the GRPS community together to celebrate the joy of music. Our instrumental journey included Junior Band, Senior Band, Senior Strings and Senior Choir, every performance reflected the talent, commitment and courage of our young musicians. π»πΊπ·π€
Thank you to our dedicated Directions in Music staff, GRPS teachers, supportive families, our P&C and wonderful audience members who helped make the evening so special. The warmth, pride and applause in the room were a beautiful reminder of the power of music to connect us all. β¨π

We explored the wonders of liquid nitrogen, built and launched rockets, raced in a live-action Mario Kart challenge on billy carts, and watched 100 ping pong balls soar into the air! πποΈβ¨

Today, our School Captain Archer proudly represented our school at the Woollahra Councilβs ANZAC Day Wreath Laying Ceremony, held at Steyne Park Cenotaph, Double Bay.
Accompanied by Rel Principal Ms Baptist and Ms Andersen, we pause to remember, reflect and give thanks for the service and sacrifice of others.

Huge congratulations to our record breakers from the Swimming Carnival! πββοΈπββοΈπ
π Imogen made waves first, breaking the Junior Girls Backstroke record with a fantastic time of 47.28 seconds. An outstanding swim!
π Harrison followed with an incredible performance, smashing the 12 Years Boys 50m Freestyle record in 36.44 seconds, and then breaking the Open Boys 100m Freestyle record with a time of 1:22. What an amazing achievement!
