🐔💚 Welcome to the Fern Gully Family, Hay Hay and Max! 💚🐔

This week, our children and families had the exciting opportunity to help name our newest feathered family members. We received so many wonderful suggestions, and after collecting all of the names, we drew two lucky winners out of a hat — introducing Hay Hay and Max!

At Fern Gully Child Care Centre, we value the important role that families play in our community. Providing opportunities for children and their families to be involved in centre decisions helps create a strong sense of belonging, connection, and ownership within our learning environment.

The children have already loved getting to know our new chickens, and we can’t wait to watch the special bonds that develop as they help care for and learn alongside them. Experiences like these encourage responsibility, empathy, and a deeper connection to the natural world.

A big thank you to everyone who submitted a name suggestion. We are so excited to officially welcome Hay Hay and Max to the Fern Gully family! 🐓✨

Join us for our Pyjama Afternoon Disco as we celebrate the end of Pyjama Week with music, movement and lots of fun with friends! 🎶⭐

Something exciting is coming to Fern Gully Child Care Centre! 💚🦒

Healthy Harold will be visiting on Tuesday 19th May at 11:30am as we explore “Big Feelings” together. Children will engage in meaningful conversations and activities focused on emotions, wellbeing, kindness and confidence. 🌈✨
