Some FAQ about my upcoming April workshop:

MAINLY_-WHAT is Forrest Yoga? Is it done outdoors? In a FORREST??
- NO! Forrest Yoga is named after Ana Forrest, who is the creatrix of Forrest Yoga. the workshops will be inside a yoga studio Das YogaCafé, in Prenzluer Berg -
"Forrest Yoga" is renowned as an intensely physical, internally focused practice that emphasizes how to carry a transformative experience off the mat and into daily life.
Asana, breath and an awareness of the movement of energy through the body, Forrest Yoga is intuitive and highly developed understanding of the human body and psyche. The big differences between forrest Yoga and other styles are: working with a relaxed neck, longer holds of poses and working with active feet and hands.

1. Can anyone join these workshops even if a total beginner or never have done any yoga before?
- YES, absolutely. all are welcome, even beginners. ( we are all beginners of some kind)

2. Are mats and props provided at the studio?

YES, mats, blocks, belts and blankets are all provided- including Lockers for your belongings.

3. I cannot do a handstand// I am afraid of inversions, can I still join the inversion workshop?
-YES, absolutely, there is ALWAYS a part of a pose or asana you can do. There is always benefit to be gained and modifications always accessible

4. I am pregnant, can I still join?
-If you are beyond 12 weeks and you are not a high risk pregnancy ( your Dr has said ok to yoga) then YES, I can make pregnancy modifications for you.

6. Should I book in advance?
-Yes, I would recommend that because there are only 11 spots maximum available in each workshop.

7. Will we be moving and doing asana for the whole 2.5 hours?? that sounds like a lot of yoga?
- No, we will not be 'moving' that whole time. There will be seated meditation, creative writing, and a delicious longer Savasana. There will also be time for feedback and question/dharma talk included in the 2.5 hour workshop.
