Reconciliation Week
As part of our exploration of National Reconciliation Week, our Wattle children extended their kitchen project by organising and running a bake sale. All children engaged in meaningful conversations about reconciliation.
We are proud to share that, thanks to the generosity of our families and community, we have raised over $780 so far! All funds raised will be donated to Children's Ground to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
This project provided meaningful opportunities for children to learn about reconciliation, community, generosity, and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
A heartfelt thank you to all of our families for supporting our children and helping us contribute to a more inclusive and connected future for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This week, we collated children’s voices to help us strengthen our interview template for new educators. During our children’s council, they shared what questions they’d like to ask new educators. This empowers our children and gives them a say in decisions that impact them.

It was such a joy seeing our mums feel loved, appreciated, and spoiled while spending quality time with their little ones during our Sip and Celebrate, Mum’s Day event.
Our children thoughtfully created personalised crafts including customised photo frames, handmade bath salts, and painted pots as a heartfelt way of expressing their gratitude and love for their mummies and mum-figures. 💐✨ ❤️

As Mother’s Day approaches, we’re asking our little ones a simple question: what do you love most about your mum? 💐
It’s a beautiful opportunity for our young artists to express their love in their own unique ways, showing us that a mum’s love is felt anywhere and everywhere.
