Book Week 2026

This year we welcomed our wonderful families in to celebrate book week with us. We were so impressed with the characters that walked through our doors to join in our community parade. Together, we celebrate a symphony of stories, where we all come together as one.

Thank you to Ms Pritika, Ms Liz and Ms Sonia for Wellness Wednesday. And thank you to all staff who contributed to celebrate our wonderful educators and centre cook 😊 it is important to pause, and remember to take care of yourself.

Next month we will be exploring how we can extend this initiative to our children and families.

This month we begin exploring the child safe standards as a team. Beginning with Standard 1, we have started gathering educator and children’s feedback, on how well we lead with child safety as a paramount priority. Management continue to improve our practices and consider the needs of the children before all else.

Well done to Ms Sonia for planning our next Winter menu. After reviewing our menu with our children and families, she designed a new Winter menu that reflects the cultures of our children, and meets munch and move healthy guidelines. We are so thankful for the way she supports our Service.

Last night we held our annual Transitioning to school information night. We welcomed Principals and Assistant Principals from Enfield Public School and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School and a representative from “Speak Up” speech therapy. We addressed our school readiness program, co-regulation, and practical steps you can take to prepare your children for school. Thank you to all of our families for coming, sharing information and asking questions. Thank you to our guests who provided valuable insights for our families. Together, we continue building strong partnerships that support the children in our community.
