✨️Brillante - Singapore✨️

We have just wrapped up a few 'brilliant' days of dancing in Singapore.

Firstly, was the competition.

We danced five rounds. It is always fun when we are granted multiple opportunities to perform. David explored a more playful, active sense of movement, not so confined to a condition of being correct. Christina enjoyed a fuller sense of movement, inspired by a more grounded approach. We had a lot of fun, and relished the chance to dance to some great music.

Congratulations to for putting together another beautiful competition. We appreciate your work, and look forward to your 2027 instalment.

After the competition we participated in a workshop and took some lessons. We enjoy aligning our competitive experiences with ongoing education and inspiration. Thank you see you somewhere sometime soon.

There is a lot more to dancing a competition than the final read out of the result. We would like to shine more value on the journey and the experience. Results are not a definition of our value or quality as dancers. If you would like to know our results you can find them somewhere on the Google machine 👀

We look forward to sharing our experiences with our students and friends more deeply when we return to Sydney. We are now in Perth for a few more lessons and a little time with David's family.

✨️ Japan memories from January 2025 ✨️

Presence, letting go and surrendering to the now.

Group workshops, bowls of ramen, bamboo forests and onsen.

Friends, shared practice, community and movement.

We are deeply grateful for our experiences with Luca in Tochigi last year. We feel this trip opened the door to infinite possibilities.

A lot has changed since January last year, we have grown and our dancing has evolved.

We enter 2026 with refreshed vision, renewed inspiration and an openness to whatever will be.
