Fit kids don’t necessarily just come to kids fitness. A child’s overall development is complemented with a range of activity through the week. Most of our kids have a jam packed week of Oztag, boxing, swimming and more, so throwing in a once a week full body strength workout compliments the rest of their schedule nicely. Kids struggle in school to sit still and upright I see it everyday. They look sluggish, find it difficult to brace up especially when writing for long periods of time which is often what most teachers are making them do - me included. Focusing on building a solid core helps with not just their sport but everything to do with what happens in the classroom which is why every session has a structured core segment to it
