You know you’ve found your people when you can walk into work and never quite know what the day will bring😂💜
One day you’re an educator.
The next you’re building a cubby, chasing bubbles, dancing in the yard, getting covered in paint… and somehow becoming the expert at settling a disagreement over who gets the purple dinosaur. 🦖😂

And let's be real, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

At BSELC, we’re trained to use all adrenaline devices, and this serves as a great visual reminder.

🧡 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬.

When someone is experiencing anaphylaxis, every second counts. Acting quickly can save a life.

If you suspect anaphylaxis:

🧡 Remove the safety cap.
💉 Place the injector against the outer mid-thigh (it can be given through clothing).
⏱️ Push firmly until it clicks and hold for 3 seconds.
📞 Call 000 immediately after giving adrenaline.
🛏️ Keep the person lying flat if possible and monitor their breathing.

⚠️ Remember:
An adrenaline injector is single-use only. Give the used device to the ambulance crew and let them know the time it was administered.

💙 Knowing how to use an adrenaline injector gives you the confidence to act when every second matters.

🧸✨ OOSHIE SWAP FUN! ✨🧸

The Ooshie craze has officially made its way into our centre! 😂💜

Last week we joined in on the fun with our very own Ooshie Swap! The children had so much fun showing off their collections, swapping with their friends and chatting about their favourite Ooshies.

Miss Ash was nervous and certainly second-guessed offering to conduct the swap, but wow, it was wonderful to see the excitement, conversations, negotiation and connections that came from something so simple - a little craze that turned into lots of opportunities for social learning and, of course… some very serious Ooshie trading! 😜

We managed to snap a few moments of the fun to share with you! 💜✨
