I'm so excited to be launching a brand-new 1-hour interactive presentation for veterinary teams!

Pain assessment is such an important part of patient care. No one comes to work wanting to see their patients in pain, but because our patients can't tell us how they're feeling, it's up to us to recognise the signs and assess them accurately.

This session focuses on the first two essential steps:
✅ Step 1: Recognising what pain looks like in patients who can't tell us.
✅ Step 2: Quantifying pain using validated pain scoring tools.

Through interactive discussion, case examples, and team participation, you'll gain practical skills that can be implemented immediately in your clinic.

Whether you're a Veterinary Nurse, Veterinary Technician or Veterinarian, this session is designed to get the whole team involved 🤩.

Earlier this week I had a blast delivering a custom 3-hour workshop for the amazing team at Galstone Vet! 🩺🐾

We covered a CPR refresher, introduced the fantastic RECOVER app to help keep compression and ventilation rates on track during CPR, and wrapped up with some hands-on anaesthetic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

One of my favourite parts of these workshops is seeing everyone get involved 🤩. The vets shared valuable tips from their own experiences, and the veterinary nurses asked some fantastic questions that sparked great discussions. It's always rewarding to learn from each other and build confidence as a team.
