β€οΈπ€π Reconciliation Week at Naremburn ππ€β€οΈ
At Naremburn, we proudly respect, celebrate and honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories. Throughout Reconciliation Week, children engaged in meaningful experiences through storytelling, music, dance, art and connection with nature, fostering a sense of respect, understanding and belonging.
These experiences encouraged children to learn about the importance of caring for one another, valuing diversity and recognising the rich cultural heritage of the worldβs oldest continuing cultures.
Together, we continue to nurture curious minds, respectful relationships and a commitment to building a more inclusive future for all. πΏβ¨

π Colour Sorting Fun in Junipers Room π
This week in Junipers Room, children explored colours through a fun and hands-on sorting experience using pom poms, scoops, and matching cups. π‘π΅π£
As children sorted and transferred the pom poms, they were developing important skills such as hand-eye coordination, concentration, problem-solving, and early colour recognition. Using scoops and spoons also supported the strengthening of fine motor muscles and control. β¨
By creating playful and engaging learning opportunities, we encourage children to explore, investigate, and build confidence through everyday experiences. π

π Happy Motherβs Day from NELC π
This week across our centre, children have been engaging in beautiful, heartfelt experiences to acknowledge the special people in their lives.
Through creative activities, thoughtful gestures, and meaningful moments, we celebrated the love, care, and connection that make families so special. π
To all the mums and mother figures in our communityβthank you for everything you do. Wishing you a day filled with love and appreciation.
πΏπ At The Maples Preschool, childrenβs curiosity is leading the learning! Recently, our children have shown a strong interest in plants, bugs, caterpillars, and nature. πͺ΄β¨
Through hands-on experiences, children are exploring life cycles, caring for living things, and discovering how nature grows and changes every day. ππ
By following childrenβs interests, we create meaningful opportunities for inquiry, creativity, and a love of learning. π

Our team recently took part in hands-on fire extinguisher training π§―π₯
At NELC, the safety and wellbeing of our children and staff is always our top priority. This training ensures our educators feel confident, prepared, and equipped with the knowledge of what to do in the event of an emergency.
