Norwood Community Preschool is a not-for-profit organisation and has been operating in the local community since 1959. Norwood is financially supported by fees from parents, NSW Government grants and parent fundraising. No fees are charged for public holidays or during the NSW school holidays. We are a ‘Registered Care Provider’ for Child Care Benefit (CCB) and a receipt will be provided to those eligible. As we are not a Long Day Care service we are unable to offer a Child Care Tax rebate (CCR). The centre is licensed to enrol 25 children per day aged 3 to under 6 years old. Our hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm and operate during NSW school terms. Norwood Preschool is situated at the end of Chelmsford Rd close to Asquith train station, local bus services and has plenty of convenient, safe parking. The learning environment is surrounded by bush and parkland. We are fortunate to have plenty of shade and a large outdoor play area.
