Emergency Alert Test on Australian Mobile Devices – 27 July 2026

On Monday, 27 July 2026, the Australian Government will conduct a national test of the AusAlert emergency warning system between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. This test may be received on all compatible mobile devices, including devices used within our service.

Compatible devices such as mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches and children's safety watches may display a test alert accompanied by a loud sound, vibration and an on-screen message. These alerts are designed to attract immediate attention and may override silent mode or Do Not Disturb settings.

Some children may find the unexpected sound or message unsettling. Our educators will provide reassurance and support to any children who are affected by the alert.
