AK School of Music is a reputable home studio-based music school in Sydney. We envisage to provide holistic music education and tailored lessons that cater for individual leaning needs. We believe that there are two basic principles to successful music learning – one’s passion and techniques, and these serve as the fundamental factors to our mission in teaching.



We have a team of professional and inspiring teachers offering lessons in teachers’ studios and at students’ homes. Areas include The Hills District, Chatswood, Eastern Suburbs, CBD, as well as Chatswood High School. We employ an integration of Internationally recognised Conservatoire method and 21st Century Education Models to best develop our students‘ musicality and skills, and ultimately prepares individuals into the pathways they choose, fostering the next generation of Australian musicians.



There is a wide variety of our existing students from preschool children to adults. Many have achieved excellent results in Diploma exams, HSC Music, AMEB practical and theory exams. An impressive number of students have also won a number of prizes from Eisteddfods and some even became professional musicians. Each year, we would organise student concerts, nursing-home tours and other charity events to practice what we preach, develop performance experiences, and connect music learning to real-life practices.
