My wee girl is home and purring non-stop. She wants to eat.... and no appetite stimulant needed today!
Another shaved patch, this time right across Mirage's belly. But no catheter for the first time in days!
I am sooooooo incredibly grateful to thise wonderful people that have donated towards Mirage's vet care, thise that have personally messaged or called, and to Jessica Thomas and Mitch for everything they have done to assist Mirage and I through the most scary time of our lives.
I'm really hoping the antibiotics calm the pancreatitis. A sample of her very inflamed pancreas going off for testing to make sure there are no nasties. She'll be back at vets in a couple of days for blood to be retested to check her elevated levels are improving and top up any meds needed for pain relief etc.

My beautiful 13-year-old cat, Mirage, is critically unwell, and I’m terrified of losing her.
She has been my constant companion for 12 years, my only family here in Australia.
Recently, she stopped coming for cuddles and lost interest in food, which was heartbreaking to see. After rushing her to the emergency vet, she’s now on IV fluids and facing serious health challenges.
The vet bills have already reached $3,500, and if she needs further treatment, it could cost up to $10,000.
I’m doing everything I can for her, but I’m overwhelmed and scared. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help cover her medical expenses.
