Our Year 12 2027 students gathered at Lake Macquarie earlier this week for a leadership conference centred on the theme "Courage, Community and Opportunity." With sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, rock climbing, archery tag and more on offer, students challenged themselves, built connections and created lasting memories.

Congratulations to Alicia and Amber for their recent sporting acheivements.

In fencing, Alicia recently received a Bronze Medal at the Australian Youth Circuit (National) Championships in the U13 Girls' Foil, a fantastic accomplishment on the national stage.

Her success doesn't stop there, with an impressive two State Gold Medals in U13 Foil and a State Bronze Medal in U15 Foil so far this season.

And in tennis, Amber was crowned the NSW & ACT State Masters Champion in the U12 category last weekend! Competing against some of the best young athletes from across NSW and the ACT, Amber rose to the challenge and delivered an exceptional performance to claim the state title.

We are incredibly proud of both Alicia and Amber, and look forward to seeing what they achieve in the future!

It hasn't been only HSC all day for our Year 12s, who celebrated with cupcakes after their English exam this morning. There was also plenty of activity at both the Junior and Senior School as friends caught up after the holiday break.

We're very happy to see all our students back for Term 4, and can't wait to see what the rest of 2026 will bring!

The Senior campus was inundated with parents and extended families who joined us this morning for our special Year 12 Valedictory Chapel, Assembly and Morning Tea. It was a wonderful way to farewell our Year 12 students, who have have spent their final year at Abbotsleigh absolutely living up to their Prefect theme "Journey with Joy".

The Top Oval was transformed into a tail-wagging parade of paws earlier today as our Year 12s brought their beloved dogs to school for a morning of furry fun.

Alongside their four-legged friends, students stepped back in time by recreating outfits from photographs of their younger years, adding a nostalgic touch to the morning.
