-Community Garden Closed-
π₯³ The rooftop space is still open for people to hang and study in, but is no longer active as a community garden.
π€ See the "Ground Up University of Sydney Community Garden" page for up to date community garden news at USYD.
π« The rooftop Community Garden was the first community garden established on campus at the University of Sydney, in 2013.
π± Later that year another community garden was built at ground level just behind the Wentworth Building on the Gadigal Lawns. This garden has flourished and engaged the student and staff communities alike, being more visible and having more access to soil to plant directly in the ground.
π Lots of love to all the gardeners who pioneered the way for community gardening at the University of Sydney.

Exciting news! Today (Tuesday) at 5.30pm lots of fellow Sydney and NT community gardeners are coming to visit our garden! All are welcome to pop along and have a chat. Especially excited for Emily, the President of the Australian City Farms and Community Gardens Network to see our garden!
Hey everybody!!
Monday (tomorrow) will be the last meeting at the garden for the year! Come along from 10am until lunchtime to pick some salad greens and herbs (which are all growing madly) and help attach the watering timer! There's heaps of exciting news to share about opportunities for the garden which have cropped up and people who have gotten on board recently.
Hope to see you there!
Happy Holidays!! :)
