in a one on one and small group learning environment. We support students partaking in mainstream education, those who are in the gifted stream and also those who are undertaking the Life Skills course. Through systematic revision, confidence building, laughter and the development of basic skills, learning becomes second nature. We understand that learning is not a strictly black and white experience and that it is different for each and every student. During our initial consultation, we make Individual Education Plans which are developed in consultation with parents/caregivers and reviewed twice yearly. Our team consists of not only academically talented people, but ones who can help when a "speed bump" occurs. We offer ongoing assistance during the week, in addition to the scheduled lesson and ensure that, through mentoring and guidance, each student is comfortable with their learning and in a clear headspace to cope with the rigours of both education and life in general and then be able to move forward with a more balanced perspective. Our students know that they are not alone, that we are there for them. They are encouraged to always include us when they receive assignments, exam results or feedback from teachers. Parents, too, know that they can reach out to us for guidance, advice. Raising children can be a difficult journey and whilst we don't profess to have all the answers, we do listen, guide and support. We take the holistic approach to learning.
