Identifying your natural response can allow you to re-wire your thinking pattern.

To grab the attention of your audience and keep them locked in, research has uncovered story telling is 22 times more memorable than facts alone!
Authentic story telling is so powerful for the listener as it brings our messages to life, evokes emotions and enables the listener to connect with it.
Here are 3 tips on how to utilise story telling in your next presentation:
1. Keep it real! If the story means something to you, your audience will feel it and your authentic emotions will draw people in.
2. Share the part of your story that matters! Align the story with your ultimate key messages.
3. Create a picture of your story in the listeners mind! As your uncovering your story, share the minor details, to paint that picture to leave a lasting impression.
Connect. Inspire. Empower!

DO'S
1. Anchor yourself on your feet.
2. Demonstrate a high status posture with shoulders back.
3. Take a deep breathe, smile and in your mind reaffirm "I've got this''
DON'TS
1. Minimise wandering around too much
2. Cross your arms when presenting
3. Avoid pointing at the audience. It can appear aggressive

Positive Affirmations help us combat our negative inner chatter.
Replace your thoughts with “I am...” and apply the following:
1. Use the present tense
2. State it in the positive
3. Keep it brief
4. Make it specific
For example,
Replace the negative: I am really bad at public speaking. People will think I don’t know what I’m talking about. 😞
Positive Affirmation: I am a confident presenter. I leave a lasting impression on my audience. 😎
