Street Sm_ART

Street Sm_ART A site for recording events related to the NSW Premier's Teachers Scholarship of Karen Profilio. I am sponsored by the NSW Copyright Agency.

This project is designed to develop creativity and collaboration in and beyond the classroom involving geographic and cultural distances as a way to build artistic networks in recognition of our increasingly connected world. It broadens the concept of ‘creative practice’ in transporting students in their artmaking beyond that which is experienced in the classroom. This is achieved by using social

and digital networks to access artists as part of students’ artistic practice. It also prepares students to be digital global citizens and prepares them for life beyond the classroom in the 21stC.
