What do you do in your downtime ?
I was asked the question before going on retreat at the beautiful Desa Seni this week
My first reaction was “Hah, what down time!”
I have been busy with a new puppy this last year and my real quiet downtime is taken up with walking and looking after my dog.
So I flipped it and made decision to use our walks as my downtime and less of a chore
This week was me giving me the gift of time and space to reconnect back to me with a daily yoga practice of Forrest Yoga, Yin and Myofascial Release. Massages mandatory ! 🥰
I had lost my mojo teaching yoga (letting go of my teens class last December) but now I am re-energised to teach again and share my unique skills in whatever shape or form.
I truly felt my energy channels opened up - my palms are awake (red hot and tingly) and so I want to also offer body work 🤲
What is Forrest Yoga you ask ?
Strong, mindful movements and intelligently sequenced so that your body is feeling prepped as we build up to the apex pose. You are in the pose for 5-10 breaths, long enough to really feel it in your body.
Modifications always available - up / down levelling as required.
Your body feels different from one day to the next so check in with yourself and ask “how am I are feeling” and practice struggle free 🙏
