Wow... We are finally home!... After what has been a 'Trip of a Lifetime'... 10 weeks away ⛱️ , 16 flights ✈️, 10 Countries visted in total... Japan 🇯🇵, England 🇬🇧, Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 , Iceland 🇮🇸 , Italy 🇮🇹 , Croatia 🇭🇷, Turkey 🇹🇷, Greece 🇬🇷, Macedonia 🇲🇰, Malta 🇲🇹 , 2 Weddings 💒 , and a Tonne of Gelato 🍦 consumed along the way!... All done with 2 carry on small backpacks and 2 x 10kg overhead carry on flight bags ✈️... So extremely Blessed 🙏🏻 to have shared it all with my little Maltese 🇲🇹 Princess Leonie ❤️ and so very fortunate to come back home to what is the 'Best country' in the world 🌎... Australia 🇦🇺 🏖❤️🙏🏻

It's been an amazing month to remember for all of us, and a lifetime of beautiful memories now created.
Absolute privilege to be a part of the Matildas ⚽️ 'inner circle' and Caitlin Foord's family during this FIFA Women's World 🌎 Cup and to watch and experience first hand how good Caitlin's football ⚽️ ability was one thing, but for Leonie and I, to know her personally and professionally and to hear about her incredible 'background story' is just on the very next level!...
This talented young women grew up on the beaches of Wollongong and was raised by her single mum as her dad left when she was just born. The family grew up in a housing commission area and she left school at a very young age to follow her 'passion' of playing football ⚽️ with the sole support and sacrifice of her mum, nanna and family. To say life was tough for Caitlin and the 'Foord family' was a massive understatement!.... Let's now fast forward to 2023 and Caitlin has smashed every 'glass ceiling' for women in sport and reached the pinnacle of any professional footballers dream to play in London for the EPL club Arsenal and to represent her country Australia 🇦🇺 in more than 4 FIFA Womens World 🌎 Cup 🏆 tournaments and now showcase her talent on the world stage and at home in front of her family and friends.
And I can now 'share the secret' that Leonie and I, have been 'helping, guiding and mentoring' Caitlin Foord 'Off the Football ⚽️ field' in the world of Property 🏡...
Late last year Caitlin purchased her first property at Auction in Warrila Beach near Wollongong where she grew up as a kid. (I was bidding on her behalf as Caitlin watched from her small flat in London). And what makes this story so amazing is that it's the first property purchase in four generations for the Foord family, breaking a generational cycle of renting to now becoming a home owner 🏡 in the most expensive state in Australia NSW and all this under the age of 30...
No words can truly describe how so very proud Leonie and I are of you Caitlin (And a big Thank You to our mutual good friend in 'Ivan Jolic' the former Matildas Assistant Coach who highly recommended Caitlin to us)... You are truly inspirational 'On and Off' the Football ⚽️ Field and now also quickly becoming a very good 'Property Guru' too 🏡❤️🙏🏻... We are looking forward to personally catching up with you next week in London to celebrate all the successes and watching you score a few more goals ⚽️ at the Emirates Stadium for Arsenal. Breaking News!... More 'Controversy’ in the Media over my comments made about what’s happening in the ‘Property Rental Market’...
The reality is that everyone has an ‘Opinion’ about Property and I totally respect that... However, with over 30 Plus years experience in Property Market working every ‘Boom & Bust’ tells me clearly, that the 'Property Rental market' is now at a very 'Critical and Crisis point' especially in Sydney and Melbourne. And we know we are all in serious trouble when we have our Governments, both 'Federal and State' trying to navigate our way out of this 'National Crisis'... The reality is they have 'No solutions' and only 'excuses'. And it's easy for the Governments to divert the attention and 'point the finger towards the 'Landlords' and now implement new taxes, which will only 'add fuel to the fire' 🔥. We are now slowly 'sinking' with No 'life rafts' anywhere to be seen to save or help the many Australians that are of the most need and for all the essential workers and teachers in our state that are the 'Heart and soul' that keeps our cities alive with the work they do and provide for us all... And now with the 'cost of living and rental crisis' the average Australian worker will no longer be able to afford to live in the major capitals of Australia, as their incomes that they receive do not meet the daily cost of living and combined with the high rents and increasing home loan interest rates making home ownership virtually unaffordable for the majority of young Australians. 💔

First Home Buyers?... Please be very careful what you sign up for and what you wish for with this new 'Sweetner' by the NSW State Government... The 'Devil is in the Detail' with this New Property Tax!..
If the 'State and Federal' Governments really want to help 'first home buyers' into the property market they should start with abolishing the Stamp Duty completely, and start supporting the 'Bank of Mum and Dad' with providing some tax incentives for them to help their children break into the Australian property market.
The reality is, that there are many 'baby boomers' now with so much equity (Cash) in their own property which in most parts are also debt free, and if only they could unlock the capital without being penalised for doing so with additional taxes by the Government and by doing this it would elivate future problems for our younger generation who are all wanting to secure a home and create their 'Australian Dream' by owning a property.

The Reality is that with this new tax, it is the first step by the NSW Government to introduce many more changes to Stamp Duty, and you can be guaranteed that it will try to introduce a new Property Tax on all properties after the next NSW state election as the revenue is a major 'cash cow' for the the government.
