📚 Last Day Of Book Week 📚

We have loved seeing everyone dress up this week.

Our rooms had a great time turning popular stories into sensory experiences to explore with our friends.

Our Prep Room children used their imaginative skills to create their own storybooks. They will be on display in the hallway with our book character images.

Thank you to everyone for dressing up and having some serious fun this week!

We love small world play and so excited to learn about all these animals in the Toddler Room!

Small world play is an imaginative activity where children use miniature toys, figures, and natural items to create and control their own little worlds!

Small world play creates opportunities to use our imagination, expand our vocabulary and engage with our friends!

Book Week in the Prep Room today.

Our Prep Room team jumping into dressing up ajd helping our friends explore our emotions and how to be a good friend.

The Hungrey Caterpillar story become an interactive play space where we looked at making good food choices and the life cycle of a butterfly

We cant wait to see what characters comes in tomorrow

🦒 Healthy Harold Visit 🦒

Today we had a very special visitor come to help us explore our Big Feelings with the children in the Toddler and Preschool Room.

Harold’s Big Feelings supports preschool children to develop and build social and emotional wellbeing skills and knowledge.

Health Harold helped us focus on emotional literacy, emotional regulation, friendship and connection and help seeking.

Healthy Harold shared a new book with us featuring Australian illustrations, storytelling, music and songs that helped us learn about health, safety and emotional wellbeing.

🚒👨🏽‍🚒 Fire Fighters Visit 👨‍🚒🚒

Thank you to Regentville Fire Station for visiting us today.

The fire fighters spoke to us about when to call 000, stop, drop and roll, and when to drop and go go good.

We got to hear what a fire fighter sounds like when they are breathing in the oxygen mask and we were able to have a photo with them

We were then able to have a turn at ‘putting the fire out’ by turning the hose on to feel how fast the water rushed out

Lots of mini fire fighter's here today!
