🚦 Road Safety Week has begun in the Dolphins room! 🚸

Today we started with an important class discussion all about staying safe when crossing the road. We talked about stopping, looking, listening and holding a grown-up’s hand near roads and car parks.

The Dolphins then shared their ideas through drawing, creating wonderful pictures to match our conversations about road safety. It was fantastic to see the children using their voices, experiences and creativity to explore ways we can all stay safe in our community. ❤️💛💚

✨ Magic Play Dough Fun in the Dolphins Room! ✨

Today the Dolphins became little scientists and creators as we made our very own Magic Play Dough!

We started by making plain white dough together. Then Miss Melissa added a secret surprise — a splash of colour hidden right in the middle of each dough ball! At first it looked like ordinary white dough… but once we started mixing, squeezing, rolling and stretching, the magic happened! 🌈

Slowly the colours began to appear, spreading through the dough as our hands worked hard to mix it all together. The Dolphins were fascinated watching their dough transform before their eyes!

Not only was this lots of fun, it was also wonderful for strengthening our hand muscles and fine motor skills as we squeezed and kneaded the dough. It also sparked lots of curiosity and excitement as we discovered how the colours changed and blended.

What a magical way to explore creativity, colour and sensory play!
