A reminder for the business owners quietly building behind the scenes:

You do not need to have everything figured out before you start.

I’ve changed directions.
Pivoted.
Reinvented myself.
Built multiple brands.
Made mistakes.
Outgrown things.
Started over.

That’s business.

Sometimes the next level of growth comes from giving yourself permission to evolve.

This season of my business has involved more speaking, mentoring, coaching and helping people see the bigger picture in what they’re building and I’ve genuinely loved it.

If you’re feeling stuck in business right now, what’s one thing you need support with most?

One thing I’ve learnt after years in marketing and business?

People are craving honesty again.

Not polished perfection.
Not fake guru energy.
Not “I made 100k in a week” nonsense.

Just real conversations.
Real strategy.
Real connection.

I think that’s why mentorship has become such a big focus for me lately.

I love helping people cut through the noise and focus on what actually matters in their business.

Less fluff.
More clarity.
More confidence.
More action.

What’s one piece of business advice you’re sick of hearing online?

A little behind the scenes update from me.

Between running Creative Little Soul , working on my personal brand, mentoring business owners, navigating chronic illness and trying to maintain some kind of social life… it’s been BUSY.

But also really fulfilling.

One of my favourite things lately has been mentoring people who are incredibly talented but second guess themselves constantly.

Sometimes strategy is important.
Sometimes mindset is important.
Most of the time? It’s both.

You can have the best ideas in the world but if you don’t back yourself, you’ll stay stuck playing small.

Tell me honestly:
What’s one thing you’d do in business if fear wasn’t part of the equation?

Some of you may or may not know that I live with MS (Multiple Sclerosis).

I was diagnosed a little over 13 years ago after losing the vision in my right eye, walking into things, falling over and losing mobility down my right side. I was admitted to hospital, had the lumbar puncture, MRI and all the tests that lead to a diagnosis that changed my life.

My vision never returned in my right eye. I now live with permanent numbness and weakness on my right side and use a walking aid. I also suffer another issue because of my MS damaging nerves called Trigeminal Neuralgia, with my pain levels most days being HIGH.

Since then, I’ve been on seven different medications to help slow the progression of the disease. There is currently no cure. MS affects more women than men globally, and no two people experience it the same way.

What people often don’t see is the cost that can come with treatment. Over the years, medication side effects have included skin cancer, my hip bone dying off (I’ll need a replacement), teeth crumbling and shattering, weight gain and Type 2 diabetes. No one tells you this stuff and often being on experimental medication can be very rough.

That said, I’m actually doing pretty okay at the moment. My current treatment plan is working well, and I’m grateful for that. But I'm not "cured".... That part is still away to come.

One of my biggest triggers is heat and humidity. My neurologist jokes that I should move to the snow. It’s also why I often prefer meetings that aren’t face to face for much of the year. The aftermath can cause real pain and physical fallout that many people don’t realise.

On May 30, it’s World MS Day. This year’s theme is My MS Diagnosis.

So I’m sharing my story for anyone who needs to feel seen, understood or simply learn more. Awareness matters. Compassion matters. And you never truly know what someone may be carrying behind the scenes.

Motivation is cute… but it’s unreliable. Consistency is what gets results.

You won’t always feel inspired. You won’t always feel ready. And you definitely don’t need to run yourself into the ground to make progress.

The real win? Building habits, systems and realistic momentum you can actually sustain.

If you’ve been waiting to “feel motivated again,” this is your reminder to stop waiting.

I wrote about how to stay consistent without burning out here: https://www.chrissysymeonakis.com/blog check it out and let me know what you think in the comments.

I was recently on this podcast and our conversation flowed for organically, that we wound up having to split it into 2 parts.

Appreciate Shantelle for her grace and holding space to have a great discussion around business, life and chronic illness.

Find it in all the podcasting places. Grateful to get to share my story to hopefully help and spire others. Enjoy your weekend friends.

This line says so much.

Chrissy Symeonakis' story holds grief, trauma, disability, mental health, therapy, and survival, but it also holds power.
Not the fake shiny kind. The real kind.
The kind you build when life has already knocked you sideways and you still decide to keep going.

The Authority Ecosystem: How to Command Attention in the Age of Precision PR 29/04/2026

I get called on quite a bit by media and PR to comment on a range of topics. This one recently chatting all things PR and how to get noticed.

The Authority Ecosystem: How to Command Attention in the Age of Precision PR The traditional press release is nearly obsolete. The wall between PR, search strategy, and growth marketing is crumbling. In 2026, brand authority isn't built through 'coverage' in the traditional sense but through the precision of your 'signal'. The modern audience is insulated by algorithms and y...
