Cello lessons for all ages and levels/grades.Graduated as Bachelor in Music Performance, cello in Russia I have taken my career as a teacher further and gained experience teaching children and adults alike.I teach cello technique and general music theory in a comprehensive approach to music education. Creative and fun lessons for children from the very early age through to adolescence and adults alike. There are no two identical learning minds in the world and I customize my lessons to find the most efficient yet most enjoyable way of learning for every student.I have successfully prepared students for AMEB exams with a record of many high marks. However, studying music is not just about passing exams. Learning and consistently developing the skill of playing an instrument - and using the voice alike - should create a connection with the magic that only art can provide.My goal as a teacher is to guide my students to levels where this connection turns into a special spiritual experience while allowing to make academical achievements. I pay a lot of attention to developing confidence in my students that can take them further into other fields of life. Singing or humming the main tune or even the whole score before starting to learn it on the instrument is just one of the tools that I use for better understanding of the core idea in the chosen piece. Then the harmony comes into play and a whole spectrum of artistic elements that comprise the composer's creation.I have performed a lot on stage myself working as a cellist on many projects as well as being a lead singer in a prominent ensemble for 7 years.Whether you or your child wish to start an exciting career or to advance in an existing one, or if you want to make playing the cello a beautiful hobby of yours that lets you express something that remained unspoken so far - I will pass onto you my knowledge, experience and creativity to take you or your child further along each of those pathways.
