Are you aware of the peer passenger condition that applies to Provisional P1 drivers?

β˜€οΈ During the day, drivers on their red Ps can offer anyone a lift, provided they follow all the road rules and drive safely.

πŸŒ™ Between 11pm and 5am, drivers aged under 25 and on their red Ps must not drive with more than one passenger who is under 21.

βœ‰οΈ An exemption may be granted for genuine family, work or volunteering purposes. However, P1 drivers need to have received the exemption from Service NSW before they embark on those late-night journeys, not after! You can apply for an exemption at a Service NSW service centre.

🍹 β€œIt’s just one drink, should be fine to drive, right? Won't need a cab..." 🀷

😬 If only it were that simple... drinks vary in size and strength, often making it impossible to know your blood alcohol concentration (BAC) 🎚️

Even if you feel okay, you could still be over the limit or too impaired to drive safely πŸš—

If you’re drinking, don’t drive - have a Plan B so you can enjoy yourself and make it home after 🏑

πŸ‘€ It’s no Abbey Road, but it is a school zone - and they’re back in operation across NSW from today 🏫

🎢 ❀️ All You Need Is Love… and to follow the 40km/h speed limit in school zones 🚨

🚸 Kids will be crossing the road With A Little Help From our Friends, the School Crossing Supervisors, so make sure to look out for everyone when passing through πŸš—
