Little Champions Multi Sport Program 2026
Over the last 8 weeks, the children have been participating in the multi-sport program with Little Champions!
Each week the children explored a different sport including netball, basketball, soccer and football. Throughout the program, the children focused on developing their gross motor skills through stretches, sport-specific drills and fun group activities.
It has been wonderful to see the children build confidence, teamwork skills and coordination while actively engaging in each sport. We thank Little Champions for providing such a fun and engaging experience for our children!

Miranda Community Garden’s 2026
This week, the children at Kare 4 Kidz enjoyed an exciting excursion to Miranda Community Gardens. We safely walked to the gardens crossing the road carefully and working together as a group.
Once we arrived, the children were split into two groups and taken on a guided tour of the gardens. They explored a variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs growing in garden beds and on plants. The children were fascinated to learn where food comes from and even had the opportunity to harvest and taste some fresh produce straight from the garden.
We then visited the worm farm, where the children enjoyed learning about the important role worms play in helping gardens grow. They were excited to observe the worms up close and discover how they turn food scraps into nutrient - rich compost.
Throughout the excursion, the children demonstrated excellent listening skills, curiosity, and respect for their environment. It was a wonderful hands on learning experience that encouraged an appreciation for nature, sustainability and healthy eating.

Anzac Day 2026
The children at Kare 4 Kidz have been working hard painting poppies and making hand print leaves for our ANZAC Wreath which Miss Chloe took down and placed at the memorial site at Sutherland’s Dawn Service.
Throughout the week, the children engaged in a range of different craft experiences to educate and develop an understanding of the importance of ANZAC Day.
“They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.”

Library Excursion 2026
This week we enjoyed a lovely excursion to Miranda Library!
Before leaving, the children applied sunscreen and put on their high vis vests ready for our walk. They did a wonderful job holding hands with each other and educators and stayed safe when crossing roads and walking past driveways.
At the library, we were welcomed by the librarian to sit on the mat. The children listened to 4 stories, joined in with action songs and had fun using the shakers.
After story time and songs, the children were given some free time to explore and browse through the library books. They enjoyed looking through lots of different books, turning the pages and chatting about the pictures.

POLICE & FIRE FIGHTER INCURSION 2026 🚔🚒
We recently had some very special visitors, our local Police and Fire Brigade 🚓🚒
The children had such an amazing time learning all about safety in a fun and hands-on way. They practised “stop, drop and roll,” learnt who to call in an emergency, and gained a better understanding of how to stay safe.
They were especially excited to explore the equipment, getting to hold the police handcuffs and batons, and even more thrilled when they were invited to sit inside both the police cars and fire trucks!
A big thank you to our local emergency services for taking the time to visit us and create such a memorable and educational experience for the children. 💛

Child Safety
At Kare 4 Kidz, the safety and wellbeing of every child in our care is, and always will be, our number one priority.
We are proud to publicly commit to child safety and to creating an environment where all child feel safe, respected and heard. We uphold the rights of every child and actively seek to listen and empower children in their daily experiences with us.
As part of this commitment, and after thoughtful consideration, we have made the decision that moving forward we will no longer be posting images of children’s faces on our social media platforms. We believe this is an important step in further protecting children’s privacy and safety.
Thank you ✨

Teddy Bear Picnic 2025 🧸🤍
This year we celebrated the Teddy Bear’s Picnic! The children enjoyed a nice picnic out side with their friends and ate some banana pancakes that they worked together to make earlier in the day.
Throughout the picnic, the children sang and danced to popular teddy bear songs and enjoyed the company with their friends and of course, their teddies 🧸
