My bio:

"From the time I’ve held my earliest camera at the age of 13, I was hooked. I had a 35mm Olympus OM-1, a hand-me-down with a broken built-in light meter. This necessitated hundreds of infuriating hours of trial and error in mastering the correct exposure. While other kids played truant, I wagged classes to be in the darkroom lab at school, teasing out underexposed shots and taming overexposed ones. It was a matter of time before I built my own makeshift darkroom in the family bathroom, which culminated in my involvement as the principal photographer for my school yearbook, my first published work. Photography waned as a hobby in my twenties, when life was fast and furious with other priorities took over. In my thirties, photography returned with a vengeance, in the form of digital photography. Initially I was amazed by pictures depicting nature's interplay of light on landscapes in low light conditions but inevitably, I became infatuated with portraiture, and have not looked back since."
