Yesterday at Little Stars, we marked R U OK? Day, a reminder to check in on each other and make time to listen.

For our little ones, caring can be as simple as asking a friend how they’re feeling, inviting someone to play or noticing when they need a little extra kindness.
For the grown-ups in our community, this reminder matters too. Between busy days and caring for others, we hope you make space to ask and honestly answer “Are you OK?”

Let’s keep looking out for one another, every day. 💛

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads and father figures in our Little Stars community!

We had a wonderful morning celebrating together with fun games, delicious food and plenty of special moments shared between our children and their loved ones.

We’ve always believed it takes a village to raise a child, and that’s what our team has become, a family of carers.

Like any family, we have our ups and downs. We talk things through, support one another and keep moving forward together. It means a lot knowing there is always someone nearby to listen, offer advice or lend a hand.

We’re thankful for our long-term educators who have been part of our journey, and for our newer educators who have quickly found their place within the team.

Thank you for everything you do, not only for the children, but for each other.

📚 What a wonderful Book Week at ⭐!

Throughout the week, the children brought stories to life through role-playing, puppets, dress-ups, props and plenty of imagination. Our educators visited different rooms for special storytelling sessions, each room presented a favourite story, and the children shared books they brought from home.

A highlight was our colourful Book Week Parade, where everyone proudly dressed as their favourite book characters!

A heartfelt thank you to our families and educators for helping make Book Week so engaging and memorable.

Our toddlers and preschool children really enjoyed joining Julia for story time. We truly appreciate you taking the time to visit and share these lovely stories with the children. ❤

Last week, we celebrated Friendship Day at Little Stars! 💛
The children enjoyed spending time together, sharing, helping one another and celebrating the special friendships they have formed. It was a beautiful reminder that friendship begins with kindness, care and making others feel included.

Crazy Hair Day at Little Stars! ✨💇‍♂️
Our children and educators showed off their wildest, wackiest and most colourful hairstyles! From bright colours and crazy curls to creative accessories, everyone brought plenty of fun and personality.
It was a joyful day filled with laughter, creativity and confidence. Thank you to all our families for joining in and helping make the day so special!

To celebrate National Tree Day, our children, families and staff generously donated trees for our upcoming planting day.

Thank you to everyone who contributed! We look forward to planting the trees with the children soon and creating a greener, more beautiful outdoor environment for everyone to enjoy. 🌱

🌙 National Pyjama Day at Little Stars! 🧸✨

Our children and educators had a wonderful time arriving in their cosiest pyjamas and enjoying a day filled with laughter, learning and fun!

Beyond the excitement, National Pyjama Day gave us an opportunity to raise awareness for children living in foster care and the important work of The Pyjama Foundation. Through its Love of Learning Program, the foundation connects children in care with dedicated mentors who support their learning, confidence and wellbeing.

Thank you to our Little Stars families and educators for helping us get cosy for such a meaningful cause. 💛
