The UNSW Port Macquarie Teddy Bear Hospital team had a wonderful morning at the Breakthrough T1D One Walk on Sunday. Our medical students turned Westport Park into a pop-up clinic, helping local kids navigate "doctor's bag" jitters through play.
We love being part of the Port Macquarie community and supporting such an important cause. Helping the next generation feel confident in healthcare - one teddy at a time! β¨

All of our students are now back on campus! π
To celebrate, we got together and enjoyed burgers for lunch at our Port Macquarie Biomedical Science Centre. It was wonderful to hear the laughter filling the space again, the friendly reminders from lecturers about staying on top of reading, the excellent manners shown by our students, and the light-hearted banter between staff and students.
Moments like these remind us what makes our campus community so special - itβs great to have everyone back!

We were pleased to welcome the Mayor of Coffs Harbour to the UNSW Rural campus in Coffs Harbour last week.
The visit provided an opportunity for a tour of our facilities, where we shared insights into the UNSW Medicine program and our strong focus on supporting local workforce development and retention.
At UNSW Rural, we are committed to training the next generation of doctors in regional communities and strengthening the local health workforce for the future.
