Hi V-Fest Student Video Festival .. how are your films going? I'm hoping by now you have a script and are organised to shoot it. If you have already shot, then you'll be knee-deep in editing.
Please remember, to import and export at 24/25fps, not 30fps. if you shot at 30, then please export 24/25. This is usually not a problem if your film is just going to YouTube, however to have a DCP made for projecting in a cinema, the frame rate is critical. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi V-Fest Student Video Festival, well the wait is over!!
The pre-production for V-Fest 2026 starts NOW!!!
We have a Poster, we have a cinema (the Palace Cinema Moore Park), and now all we need are your films!!
So here is the poster, and details about our new home for V-Fest, along with the Entry Forms will be revealed in the next couple of days.
So excited for our 28th year!!
Here we go!!!

If the Chauvel has been your cinematic spiritual home, it's a good idea to book seats as the cinema is filling up!

Nuremberg is the final film (yikes!) and the final session is 6:15pm on Australia Day!
Meet me at the Candy Bar at 6pm and we can give the cinema the standing ovation it deserves!! 😪
