As we come to the end of another beautiful year, we took time to celebrate what truly makes our centre so special β our amazing children π
This week, the children enjoyed a special Christmas lunch π
π, filled with smiles, laughter, and a sense of celebration, recognising their growth, friendships, and achievements throughout the year.
We also came together as a team for our staff Christmas dinner, a lovely opportunity to reflect, connect, and celebrate the dedication, passion, and hard work of our incredible educators who support our children and families every day.
Thank you to our families for your continued trust and partnership. We are so proud of our children and so grateful for our community. Wishing everyone a joyful Christmas and a safe, happy holiday season πβ¨

Today our children enjoyed learning about Diwali, the Festival of Lights! πͺ
We were delighted to have Ranji, one of our wonderful family members, join us to share beautiful stories about why Diwali is celebrated β a time that symbolises the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. π
Children listened with great curiosity and joy, exploring the meaning of the colourful lights, sweets, and decorations that make this celebration so special. They also had the chance to create their rangoli-inspired art to honour the occasion. π¨π«
A huge thank you to Ranji and her family for helping us share this cultural celebration with the children β fostering understanding, respect, and appreciation for the diverse traditions in our community. π

What an unforgettable day out with our preschool adventurers! πΏβ¨
We began our local reserve excursion by walking slowly, listening to the gentle symphony of bird calls all aroundβwaiting to hear the chirps and tweets among the trees. We even spotted some bright wattle trees, noticing their vibrant yellow blooms, a beautiful symbol of Australiaβs natural heritage .
The children sat quietly and pretended to build a campfire, using sticks and imagination just like forest-kindergarten play. Then they gathered fallen sticks and tapped them along the bridgeβs railings, making their own nature bandβsuch creativity in sound-making!
Next up was rolling down the grassy hill, giggles echoing across the slopes as they tumbled and laughed. Pure joy and gross motor fun π±
We wrapped up with a stop at our local coffee shop, where the children cooled down with ice creams and chatted excitedly about their favourite parts of the day. This kind of community connection helps children feel that they belong to their neighbourhood and engage with local places in meaningful ways .
