πΏ National Reconciliation Week πΏ
This week, our children explored Aboriginal stories, symbols and culture through hands-on learning experiences including Dharug symbol activities, storytelling, loose parts play and collaborative artwork.
Through these experiences, children developed creativity, cultural awareness, communication skills and a deeper understanding of Aboriginal perspectives.
We are proud of the beautiful learning and meaningful conversations that took place throughout the week. π€πβ€οΈ

πβ¨ Story Time Collaboration with Beresford Rd Public School β¨π
As part of our ongoing collaboration with Beresford Rd Public School, we were excited to welcome Ms Malek for a special Story Time session with the children during Week 6.
The children listened attentively, engaged in discussions about the story, and enthusiastically shared their thoughts and ideas. Experiences like these support childrenβs language development, listening skills, imagination, and confidence in group learning experiences.
Collaborations with local schools help children build connections with their wider community and support positive transitions to school. π
A big thank you to Ms Malek for spending time with us and sharing the joy of reading with the children. We would also like to thank Ms Vanessa, Assistant Principal Early Stage 1 at Beresford Rd Public School, for organising and planning this wonderful collaboration with us.

π£π± Our Chick Hatching Journey π±π£
Our children have been excitedly observing the chick hatching process, watching the eggs hatch into fluffy little chicks! Through this hands-on sustainability experience, the children explored the life cycle of living things while developing curiosity, empathy, responsibility, and scientific thinking skills.
