What a beautiful day to be outside! Our students spent lunchtime discovering butterflies, spotting lizards and enjoying the little wonders around them. 🦋🦎🌿

We are so lucky to have such a beautiful green space for our students to explore, play and connect with nature. 💚 📚

🌿 Our Bush Tucker Garden is growing! 🌿

Our First Nations students have begun planting our new Bush Tucker Garden, featuring a beautiful range of Australian native plants.

Graham Avery, Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Officer, joined our Aboriginal Education Officer, Rachel, to guide this special learning experience. Graham also joined our students for Yerrawah Yarn, sharing his knowledge and connecting with students through culture and conversation.

With the generous donation of 50 native plants, students will engage in learning about traditional plant knowledge, caring for Country, and deepening their understanding of culture through hands-on experience. This initiative supports the sharing of knowledge and fosters a respectful connection to culture and the land.

We can’t wait to watch the garden grow and continue learning from this special space together. 🌱💚

🏉 Kirrawee Public School is backing Australia at the Rugby League World Cup 2026!

Through the NRL’s Adopt a Country program, our school has been paired with Australia. Now our whole community can get involved!

Every ticket purchased through our school link adds to our tally in a friendly competition with other schools. The highest-selling school wins an incredible experience:

⭐ 4 students become national flag bearers
