Little Citizens, Big Futures – Being Me
our preschool children are developing a strong sense of identity through our Being Me curriculum and TAP (Therapeutic Art Play) program.
In these important years, children are not only building skills, they are discovering who they are in the world. Through self-portraits and creative expression, they explore their thoughts, feelings, and individuality while developing confidence, leadership, and a sense of belonging within their community.
Our TAP experiences support children to collaborate, communicate, and take responsibility as capable and valued members of their world. Each artwork reflects their voice, creativity, and growing understanding that they are important, heard, and connected.

Building Little Hands, Big Skills!
At Lilyfield Early Learning Centre, our fine motor activities are designed to help children strengthen the small muscles in their hands and fingers, which are essential for writing, drawing, cutting, and everyday independence.
Through playful experiences like playdough exploration, scooping, , threading, and sensory activities, children are building coordination, concentration, and confidence in a fun and engaging way.
Every twist, squeeze, scoop, and pinch is a meaningful step in their learning journey, supporting both skill development and a love for hands-on discovery. 💛

STEAM Learning at Lilyfield Early Learning Centre!
At Lilyfield Early Learning Centre, we believe STEAM learning can happen in many different and exciting ways. One of the ways we bring this learning to life is through our engaging STEAM incursions with Dr Robert!
Using simple, fun, and age-appropriate coding techniques, Dr Robert introduces children aged 2–5 years to early concepts of critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and logical thinking. Through hands-on experiences and interactive learning, the children are encouraged to explore ideas, make predictions, test solutions, and think in new and innovative ways.
These meaningful experiences help build confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning while supporting children to become capable thinkers and active learners in an ever-changing world.

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support from some wonderful local businesses who have built long-standing relationships with our centre over many years.
A special thank you to Mandip from Rozelle Fruit Shop for generously supplying beautiful fresh flowers for special events and donating flowers for the children’s learning and creative experiences. The children love exploring nature, colour, and texture through these thoughtful contributions.
Our regular visits to our local café are always a highlight, where the children are warmly welcomed and enjoy baby chinos and hot chocolates, creating joyful shared experiences and meaningful social connections.
We also appreciate the support of Bangkok Thai Wok, who provide delicious meals for our educators during meetings and training days, helping us continue to learn, reflect, and grow as a team.

Therapeutic Art in Action at Lilyfield Early Learning Centre!
Our children have been deeply engaged in our therapeutic art sessions, exploring creativity through colour mixing, clay sculpture making, and sensory experiences with sand and seashells.
These open-ended experiences encourage curiosity, imagination, and self-expression while supporting children to slow down, focus, and fully engage in the moment. Through hands-on exploration, children are extending their concentration, problem-solving skills, fine motor development, and confidence in expressing their ideas creatively.
