The Preschoolers excitedly engaged at a literary-themed table with scenes based on 'Jeannie Baker's book 'Where the Forest meets the sea.

With scenes from fishing, corroboree, exploring different textures and animals.

It was awesome to see the children as they engaged in pretend play as they played the roles of fishing, gardening, playing with the animals and learning through doing and interacting with one another.

Well done Miss Leina for this fantastic scened based sensory tray that we can’t wait to explore again.

🦀 What great learning happening in our Nursery Room, this activity coincides with Sea week 2026 which promotes caring for planet water. 🐠

Our wonderful educators Miss Alyssa and Miss Meranda have started providing the children with some fun opportunities. Their favourite of course is making the coloured rice swish and rain everywhere, we have also loved supporting language skills through animal recognition.

This beautiful 3-5 year environment at Papilio Early Learning Ingleburn shows what intentional early education looks like in practice.

🎓 Celebrating Our 2025 Preschool Graduates! 🎓

What a truly magical day yesterday was as we celebrated our wonderful 2025 preschool graduates! 🌟

We are incredibly proud of each child for all they have achieved this year. From their first day at preschool to today, we have watched them grow, learn, laugh, and form friendships that will last a lifetime. Their curiosity, creativity, and joy have inspired us every single day. ✏️

A huge thank you to our amazing families for your support, encouragement, and for sharing this milestone with us – your presence made the celebration even more special. 💛

As Dr. Seuss reminds us, “You’re off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so… get on your way!” 🎈📚

We are excited for the next adventures our graduates will embark on and can’t wait to see all the amazing things they will do in the years ahead! ✨

🌿 ✨ Fresh Produce anyone 🌿 ✨

Our preschoolers veggie patch is in full swing lately and the children have been loving learning about all the fresh produce, how it grows and supporting their educators in the upkeep.

Showing a sense of pride in their accomplishments and learning about the world around them through nature is such a beautiful way of learning about the world we live in.

We would like to thank Miss Joanna who has kickstarted this project but most importantly well done to our little learners who have been keeping it blossoming.

It’s events like these where we can come together, connect, laugh, be in the moment and just have serious fun that Papilio Ingleburn strives for.

Our children’s Christmas party was such a hit amongst the educators, families and children.
