It’s the ‘brightest light’ in the world. HMI lights were originally developed for the film industry, to give a consistent, glare free but powerful light, which approached the light characteristics of daylight, (6000Kelvin) and left fewer shadows. Most portable lighting use metal halide light sources which result in a yellowish unnatural light. George Ossolinski, CEO of Lunar Lighting, saw the potential beyond the film industry. Over the years, his dedication to R&D to produce high quality, powerful and safer work lighting enabled Lunar Lighting to develop the 12,000W unit.
