Our Senior Nursery (18m to 2yrs) headed out to the Australian Museum. It was a great adventure for them to see the animals and explore. A great way to engage these young minds.

When is a good time to watch TV?
In our preschool room we have Show & Tell, but we do things a little differently and try to focus on an experience the children shared rather than an object. The families will send us photos of the moments they shared with their child, and we put it on the TV via the iPad. Then the child is able to talk about and share the experience with their peers. It truly is a great way to share.
Happy Fathers Day! We had some very competitive fathers from our toddler room competing for the ultimate title of Jumping Sack Champion. It was so lovely to get down to the Domain and play games and enjoy a fathers day afternoon tea.

Today is Early Childhood Educator Day. I am not sure if the LUNE pastries for each room was better than the roaming massages by Therapist Vanessa but I hope that the Educators at our Centre know how much they mean to all the families, the children and everyone else in our Community. It is only a small thing - but thank you and enjoy the day.

A huge thank you to over 40 of our families who came in to read to our children this week for Book Week. It was such a beautiful experience for everyone.
Book Week in Australia, organized by the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA), is an annual celebration of books and Australian children's authors and illustrators. It aims to foster a love of reading in children and highlight the importance of literature.
Our babies enjoyed an engaging activity of adding and removing balls to a sticky window that was created by our nursery educators. This simple activity not only promoted gross and fine motor skills, but it was used to encourage our babies to take turns which we know is important for developing essential social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
