We provide high quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in this beautiful purpose-built facility. We are currently seeking a Bachelor-qualified, experienced, highly motivated and professional Early Childhood Teacher to start off into a permanent part-time role with the opportunity of going full time in near future.
The centre has 4 rooms from Nursery to Preschool. Successful candidate with be willing to work along side other educators preferably in the preschool room and have a belief in good practice with lots of support received from management. You must believe in quality education, giving the best you can for the children and families.
You will be responsible for:
· Creating and maintaining a fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment
· Creating and maintaining excellent relationships with children, families, carers and staff.
· Ensuring compliance with routines, policies, processes and practices
· To develop and implement, in consultation with parents and staff a high quality program that meets the individual needs of children.
· To prepare and maintain documentation that relates to children’s development, educational program, and compliance with legislative requirements.
· Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service’s operations
·To provide leadership and promote a cooperative team approach.
The successful candidate must have:
· NSW Department of Education and Communities approved Early Childhood Education and Care Qualification. ACECQA approved or recognized teaching qualification (i.e. either a Bachelor of Teaching or Education or equivalent).
· A working knowledge of the New Quality Framework and Early Year Learning framework
· Current First-Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
· NSW Department of Education and Communities approved Child Protection Training Certificate.
· Approved and current Working with Children Check Number
· NESA accredited teacher in the categories of either: Graduate, Proficient, Highly accomplished or lead.
