Robin Williams taught us joy is medicine.
His son Zak is a chip off the old block - building PYM (Prepare Your Mind), a mental wellness company making stress and anxiety support accessible to millions.
He’s also the chairman of Bring Change To Mind. A mental health organisation founded by Glenn Close.
We got to chat with Zak and talk about the intersection of family, belonging and well-being.
Life-affirming conversations like this remind us why we do this work.
We took away their phone for a whole weekend.
And Dads connected with their sons at a level they never thought possible.
One father said the experience was the greatest thing that’s happened to him outside of his footy team winning a flag. We didn’t mention that one to his wife in the aftercare notes 😬
The Dads kept asking. We delivered.
A few years ago we got a secret call from the North Melbourne Kangaroos.
To help design and produce an Australian-first immersive education experience.
The project started as a pencil sketch.
And ended up with 270 degree curved LED screens. 3D spatial audio. And $7.3 million from the Victorian State Government for a facility at their Arden Street headquarters.
Game Day puts Grade 5 and 6 kids — many from the most vulnerable communities in Victoria — inside a world-class STEM learning experience that feels like walking onto an AFL ground on game day.
With help from National Geographic, former Disney Imagineers, a team from the US who had worked on Steve Jobs' iconic iPod and iPhone launches.
Game Day showcases the power of storytelling and people coming together.
It has now helped over 3000 children to unlock their gifts and strengths.
And we're just getting started.
The moments AI will never learn to replicate.
