Listening closely to the didgeridoo this morning during group time to see if we can hear what animals sounds are being made 🌳 we could hear a dog and an owl this morning. Then we played music instruments to the beat of the didgeridoo. What animals sounds can you hear? 🌟

Sometimes life is a little hard, or a lot hard, a little sad or a lot sad. And sometimes life is super happy. All are ok to feel, but some a lonelier than others and we want to make sure you are ok!

Being a parent or caregiver is one of the hardest things you will ever have to do, and whilst you are your child’s favourite superhero (depending on what colour plate you served breakfast on), sometimes we need to remember that we aren’t superhuman and we can’t do it all.

Here at Owl and The Pussycat Preschool Brookvale we pride ourselves on having a strong and safe community. If you ever need a safe place for a cup of coffee or tea and an ear to just talk or some support, we are always here! We have a quiet office or a friendly staffroom to have a chat, with either Ann or someone from the team.

There is no shame in reaching out for help, and sometimes its easier to go to someone unrelated for some support, if you ever come to us, it will always be discreet and in confidence, and for now, there is something sweet in our centre for our families, to sweeten your day 💜

In relation to NAIDOC week, the Owls were inspired by Indigenous artist, and creator of Zachary Bennett-Brook.
The Owls used Zac's ocean inspired art as provocation and created their own artwork focusing on lines, dots and unique shapes.
