That’s a wrap on UNSW Food Science Association’s annual Melbourne Trip for 2025! 🥫🍻🌈

Over an exciting week in the tri 2 holiday break, we explored Melbourne’s vibrant food and beverage scene. From the art and science of flavour and colour creation at Sensient Technologies, to large-scale beverage manufacturing at Asahi Beverages (Carlton & United Breweries), whisky craftsmanship at Bakery Hill Distillery, and sensory analysis insights at Kraft Heinz, we gained so much insight into industry!

These site visits offered us a behind-the-scenes look into innovation, production, and career pathways within the food science industry. We’re incredibly grateful to these companies for welcoming us into their spaces and sharing their expertise. A massive thanks to all of these companies!
