We’re hitting the pavement for City2Surf 🏃‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️ which means we’ve got less than 20 weeks to figure out where the kids get their limitless energy from… and if we can borrow some 🫠

Event registration opens today at 12pm AEST, and YOU are invited to support The Girls & Boys Brigade as we run, walk, and make every km count for young people who deserve every opportunity to thrive.

When you sign up, you can search for “The Girls & Boys Brigade” as your charity, or join our team “GBB” to rep us on the day! If 14 km (and a date with Heartbreak Hill) isn’t your thing, we get it. You can still back us by cheering us on or donating to our team fundraising page 🙌

Still buzzing from trivia night…

Together, we raised $72,935.82 for families in need — powered by your generosity, big-hearted bidding in our auctions, and a raffle that got plenty of love! It was such a fun night made even more special by this incredible community.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, brought friends, sponsored prizes, and got involved—and a special thank you to Liz for sharing her story so bravely. A powerful reminder of why this all matters 💛 Not even our emotional support capybaras could help us hold it together during her beautiful speech!

Near, far, wherever you are – we hope you’ll join us again next year for another fantastic event (and perhaps an even more questionable recorder performance by Jackie Daniels – we love you!).

Our annual trivia night is TOMORROW (!!) and the GBB fundraising team is busy making lists and checking them twice, making sure everything is set for our guests.

Behind the chaos, we’re so excited and incredibly motivated to raise as much money as we can, because every dollar raised makes a big difference to the kids and families at the GBB. That’s what keeps us going (well, that and the capybaras) 😜

We loved celebrating the incredible mums and women carers in our Girls & Boys Brigade community this International Women’s Day. 💜

That’s why we don’t just hand out bicycles. We make sure every rider has the right gear, knows how to lock up, prevent theft, and feels ready to ride the inner city like a pro. 🚲✨
