Passionate about mental health and the church?

We have a role for someone with significant ministry experience who cares deeply about seeing people in churches supported well in the midst of mental health challenges.

As the Ministry Resources Officer for our Mental Health Institute, you’ll help shape resources that equip churches with wisdom, compassion, and practical tools. Working closely with the Head of the Institute, you’ll bring ideas to life through writing, research, coordination, and collaboration—helping ensure the work of the Institute is both theologically grounded and practically useful.

Applications will close on 31 August.

Following on from Monday's Spotlight Session, we've put together a free fact sheet on Trauma to help you keep building your understanding of trauma-informed care.

It's a practical resource covering what trauma is, how it shows up, how we can understand it theologically, and how you can better support the people in your life who are carrying it.

Whether you're a pastor, a small group leader, or simply someone who wants to care well, this is a great place to start.

Our Spotlight Series on Trauma is happening tonight, and we would love you to be there.

This is a rare evening where we will hear from someone who is both an expert and has their own lived experience of trauma they will be sharing with us. We hope it will help you see more clearly what people around you are carrying and help you respond with well, confidently caring for them in Jesus’ name.

Whether you work in pastoral care, serve in women's ministry, or simply want to better love those who have experienced trauma, this is an important evening worth attending.

A hedonistic party city, full of talented and cultured people. A centre of commerce and industry. It could be Sydney or Melbourne, but it's how people described the city of Corinth, back in Paul's time. Paul's letters to the Corinthian church speak to our modern culture and context. So how should we read them?

This unit studies the church at Corinth and the exegesis of the English text of 1 Corinthians chapters 1-7 and 11-15. While this unit will enrich your understanding of Paul and 1 Corinthians, it involves learning from God's word. The ultimate aim of this unit is for us as hearers of God's word to grow in our love and knowledge of God and to bring him glory. To this end, we strive to do what Paul asks of believers in 1 Corinthians 10:31, 'So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God'.
